The Department Of Justice reported nearly $700 million stolen from over 225,000 older victims and over 300 actions against more than 700 defendants 2023-2024. They reported provided training and tools for law enforcement and elder justice partners, over 1,000 events reaching over 320 million Americans and information on trending fraud schemes and protective tips provided to older adults and their families.
Texas Elder Justice Coalition was mentioned, on page 37, as one of the coalitions funded by the newly established National Center for State and Tribal Elder Justice Coalitions to assist in building multidisciplinary coalitions to address state and Trible elder justice issues.
