The Texas Elder Justice Coalition Summit 2025 brings together experts to address the growing issue of financial exploitation of older adults. The event features keynote speakers and panel discussions on communication strategies, current exploitation trends, best practices from financial institutions, prosecuting financial crimes, and available federal and state resources. It also emphasizes the importance of collaboration among professionals to protect vulnerable populations and foster statewide efforts like the Financial Abuse Specialist Team (FAST). Attendees will gain valuable insights on raising awareness, preventing exploitation, and improving responses through education, cooperation, and practical resources.
